Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about free Urdu Bibles in Pakistan: who can request one, how delivery works, which translation we use, Bibles for churches and pastors, and how to pray with us or give.

What is Bibles for Pakistan?

Bibles for Pakistan is the free Urdu Bible distribution ministry of Good Samaritan Ministries, founded in 2009 by Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir in Lahore. It prints and gives away Urdu Bibles for adults, children and pastors across Pakistan: 150,000+ so far.

Who can request a free Urdu Bible?

Anyone living in Pakistan, of any background, from any province. Use the request form, WhatsApp or email with your full name, complete postal address, phone number and a few words about yourself.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 2 to 4 weeks after we confirm your address. A team member may call you first.

Is there any cost or condition?

None. The Bible is free, delivery is free and there is nothing to join. We verify requests only so that every Bible reaches a real person who will read it.

Which translation do you use?

The standard Urdu Bible used by the churches of Pakistan: the complete Old and New Testament in a clear, durable edition. Children receive an illustrated Urdu Bible in simple language; pastors receive editions with references and helps.

Can my church, Sunday school or school receive Bibles?

Yes. Pastors and teachers should write to us through the contact page with the name of the church or school, the town, a phone number and the number of Bibles needed. We confirm the need and deliver through the team or a partner church.

Do you distribute Bibles in other languages?

Our work is in Urdu, the national language and the heart language of most of Pakistan's Christians. Where a congregation needs Punjabi or English Scriptures we try to point them to a source.

How can I help from outside Pakistan?

Pray with us first; tell us and we will send prayer points. Gifts go through Good Samaritan Ministries, designated for free Urdu Bible distribution; from the USA they are tax-deductible through Revelation TV Inc. Churches can sponsor the Bibles for a whole crusade or a pastors' conference.

What is the Decade of Evangelism?

Our ten-year goal, 2023 to 2033: 1 million free Urdu Bibles distributed by the 2,000th anniversary of the resurrection, with 500,000 by 2028. The live count is on the Decade of Evangelism page.

Where are you based?

At Good Samaritan Church of Pakistan, Haji Park #1, Anum Road, Asif Town, Ferozpur Road, Lahore. Distributions reach 50+ districts across all four provinces.
