Bibles for Pastors in Pakistan
Equipping the shepherds of Pakistan's churches with the Word of God, through Revelation Bible College and 1,000+ partner churches.
A Pastor With a Bible Reaches a Whole Congregation
At Bibles for Pakistan we equip front-line pastors with free Urdu Bibles, the one resource no preacher, teacher or church planter can do without. In a country where many rural pastors have no personal copy of the Scriptures, a Bible in a pastor's hands is a Bible in the whole congregation's ears, every week, for years.
Since 2009, 150,000+ free Urdu Bibles have fuelled revivals, started house churches and changed communities through Good Samaritan Ministries. Every pastor equipped with Scripture becomes a light in his community.
A pastor with a Bible can prepare sermons, lead Bible studies and teach the Word accurately. One copy can reach an entire congregation for a generation.
When a Pastor Is Equipped
Churches are planted
Equipped pastors plant house churches in communities that have never had one. With Scripture in hand they disciple new believers, train leaders and establish congregations that multiply.
Crusades bear fruit
Pastors lead gospel crusades and prayer services where the Word of God brings change. Lives are transformed, the sick are prayed for and whole communities meet the Gospel for the first time.
The Word is taught well
A Bible with references and helps means sermons that are faithful to the text, Bible studies that go deep and new believers who are taught the whole counsel of God.
Revelation Bible College
Through Revelation Bible College we are training the next generation of Pakistani church leaders. The programmes combine theological education with practical ministry training, so that every graduate is equipped to preach and teach the Word with accuracy and passion, to plant and grow churches, to lead evangelistic outreach, and to disciple new believers into mature followers of Christ.
Each graduate receives a personal Urdu Bible and resources to begin or strengthen their ministry.
Bibles for Your Congregation
Tell us about your church
Write to us with the name of your church or ministry, the town, the pastor's name and phone number, and how many believers have no Bible.
We confirm the need
A member of the team calls the pastor. Where we can, we visit, or we work through a partner church in the district.
Bibles are delivered
Bibles travel with the team, with a partner church or by courier. Large numbers are given at a crusade or a church service, with photographs for the record.
"Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage, with great patience and careful instruction."2 Timothy 4:2
