The Decade of Evangelism: 1 million Free Urdu Bibles by 2033
In 2033 the world will mark 2,000 years since the crucifixion and resurrection of Christ and the birth of the church. We are trusting God for 1 million Urdu Bibles in Pakistan's hands by then.
Where We Are on the Road to 1 million
The count is updated by the ministry in Customize -> Live numbers. Every Bible in it was printed, carried and placed in a hand by the team or a partner church.
A God-Sized Goal for a Historic Decade
In 2033 the world will celebrate the 2,000th anniversary of Christ's crucifixion, resurrection and the birth of the church on the day of Pentecost. That milestone is an unprecedented opportunity to bring the Gospel to every corner of Pakistan.
Dr. Naeem Nasir's vision is to distribute 1 million free Urdu Bibles during this Decade of Evangelism, 2023 to 2033. He is trusting the Lord to send partners from all over the world to help reach this goal within the decade.
This is not simply a distribution campaign. It is a spiritual movement to see Pakistan changed by the living Word of God.
Three Milestones
- 2009 to 2023
The foundation
From five Bibles to more than 150,000: pastors, families, children and seekers across Pakistan, and a network of 1,000+ churches to distribute through.
- 2028
The halfway mark
500,000 Bibles distributed. This needs new partnerships, larger print runs and churches mobilised nationwide for mass distribution events.
- 2033
The goal
1 million Urdu Bibles in the hands of Pakistan's people, a testimony to God's faithfulness and to the power of partnership in the Gospel.
