Our story

Spreading God's Word Across Pakistan Since 2009

Bibles for Pakistan is the free Urdu Bible distribution ministry of Good Samaritan Ministries: 150,000+ Bibles given to families, pastors and children, in every province, since 2009.

A Journey of Faith

From five Bibles to 150,000+

In 2009, Rev. Dr. Naeem Nasir felt a clear call from God to bring the Word of God to every corner of Pakistan. With just five Urdu Bibles in hand and an unshakeable faith, he launched Bibles for Pakistan through Good Samaritan Ministries.

What began as a small act of obedience has grown into a nationwide movement. Today 150,000+ free Urdu Bibles have been distributed across Pakistan, reaching pastors in remote villages, children in Sunday schools, seekers at gospel crusades, and families in cities and towns throughout the country.

Our mission is rooted in the Great Commission: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). Every Bible we give is a seed of eternal hope planted in a human heart.

Our Milestones

How the Work Grew

  • 2009

    The first five Bibles

Good Samaritan Ministries is founded in Lahore and the first Urdu Bibles are given away. The Free Urdu Bibles project is born.

  • 2015

    The harvest begins

Tens of thousands of Bibles are given at crusades in city after city; new congregations form around the people who received them.

  • 2020

    Delivered to the door

When gatherings stop, home deliveries grow: Bibles posted and carried to families who could not come to a church.

  • 2026

    150,000+ and counting

100,000+ regular and 50,000+ children's Bibles distributed. The Decade of Evangelism aims at 1 million by 2033.

The Family of Ministries

Part of Good Samaritan Ministries

Bibles for Pakistan is one ministry of Good Samaritan Ministries, a Christian ministry founded in 2009 and headquartered at Good Samaritan Church in Lahore. The same family of ministries runs Revelation Bible College, Maranatha Christian School, church planting across Punjab and gospel crusades nationwide.

Because the ministries work together, a Bible given at a crusade is followed by a church to belong to, a pastor who was trained to teach it, and, for the children, a school. Distribution is never the end of the story.
